Client-side (also known as the ‘front-end’) basically means that the action or application is taking place on the user’s computer. The client of a site refers to the web browser that is viewing the site (thus the term ‘client-side’), while the server that hosts the website is known as the ‘server-side’. Client-side programming is usually related to user interface and experience. Although client-side scripts can take some time to initially load, they are faster and easier to access and interact with.
