At times, it is beneficial to categorize your advertisements as per the time of the day, such that the ads meant for the morning are displayed only in the morning. The same can be said about different days of the week. If there’s a specific time on a particular day that you do not want your ads to be displayed, 11 AM to 2 PM on Tuesdays for example, you can make that change either manually through most online platforms, or automatically in some such as Google AdWords. Since it is still a relatively new concept, automated Day Parting is not currently available through quite a lot of social media advertising platforms.
