In a hierarchical display of pages of a website, pages that appear below the primary pages are referred to as subpages. These pages are often not directly displayed but can be viewed by clicking on them through a drop-down menu in a navigation bar. Sub pages are sometimes referred to as child pages of the main pages of a website. As an example, www.yoursite.com/about-us/ would be a subpage for the primary page www.yoursite.com.
